Emergence: An Qoya-Inspired Embodied Gathering In Honor of What's Been Uprooted with Becca Kannapell of POUND Jewelry
Sunday, July 27th from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. | Total Participants: 12
Join us for an embodied evening of healing, movement, and remembrance.
In the wake of the recent tornado and the trees we lost across St. Louis—especially in North City and Clayton—this gathering is an invitation to come back to the body, to the earth, and to the roots.
We’ll move through a Qoya class—a blend of free dance, feminine movement, ritual, and breathwork—designed to honor what has been uprooted, both around us and within us. Together, we’ll root into our strength, our softness, and our sacred connection to the land.
WHAT IS QOYA? Qoya Inspired Movement is an embodiment practice that weaves together 13 different pillars to welcome all aspects of ourselves, bringing mind, body, heart, and soul into awareness. Qoya classes are a place to strengthen our inherent resilience, rest in our essence, and remember we are wise wild and free. We explore healing and nourishing ourselves in community so that we can bring our best selves to our daily lives in service to the co-creation of a more just and beautiful world.
A mini guided nature offering and ritual. Together we will create an offering to the land that gives us a home and takes care of nearly every single one of our needs. A guided ritual exploring how we can deepen our relationship to nature and in so doing, connect more deeply to ourselves and to one another.
The guided ritual is one I have learned from the Q’ero of Peru and is a gesture they make at least every single day in reverence. It is such a beautiful practice.
💎 Crystal & Jewelry Pop-Up by POUND:
