Step into the foundational teachings of Reiki in this immersive Level I (Shoden) training led by Drew Dinges of Vessel STL, hosted at Chakra Wellness. Designed for beginners and those seeking to reconnect with their intuitive healing abilities, this three-day experience blends ancient wisdom with modern, accessible practices. Students will explore the history and principles of Reiki, gain a clear understanding of energy and the biofield, and learn how to channel life force energy for self-healing and the support of others. Through guided meditations, breathwork, sound healing, and intentional group work, participants will begin to cultivate energetic awareness in a grounded, supportive environment.
Throughout the weekend, students will receive Reiki Level I attunement(s), opening the energetic channel and deepening their connection to intuitive flow. The course emphasizes hands-on practice, including full self-treatment techniques and introductory partner sessions, empowering participants to confidently integrate Reiki into their daily lives. Topics such as the Five Reiki Precepts, ethical considerations, and understanding the body’s healing response provide a well-rounded foundation for both personal growth and responsible practice.

Meet Your Course Instructor
Drew is a holistic horticulturist who partners with the natural world to support balance, healing and spiritual alignment. Rooted in folk herbalism, ritual practice and tarot, their work invites reflection, intention and embodied awareness.
As an Usui Reiki Master and certified Crystal Resonance Therapist, Drew has spent over a decade working deeply with stones as a primary energetic healing modality.
They are the Director of Healing + Design at Chakra and the founder of Vessel, a digital sanctuary offering earth-based guidance for personal growth, healing and collective support.
The Cost of the Usui Reiki Level I Training & Certification Course
The cost of this training course is $500, which includes everything needed for your three days of training at Chakra Wellness on Friday August 21st from 5 – 9 p.m., Saturday, August 22nd from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday, August 23rd from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Students will break for lunch on both Saturday and Sunday and are free to bring their own food or venture out. Light snacks, tea and water will be provided throughout the training.
Each student will leave with a student binder of notes, handouts & journal prompts full of takeaways and topics from the weekend along with a personalized Usui Reiki Level I Certificate.
